Research Interests
Amy’s research interests lie within the broad field of Biostatistics in Public Health with emphasis both on the fundamental theoretical aspects as well as specific applications of theory in the real life context. Her theoretical research interests are predominantly in the field of survival analysis and its applications. Examples of such applications are readily found in reliability analysis, as well as in areas of biomedical research. In particular, much of her research to date deals with the extension of theory associated with recurrent or multiple event survival data and the design of follow-up intervals. More recently she has been looking at methods for the analysis of dependent bivariate survival data and dependent survival and longitudinal outcome data. Her other interests include the design, running and analysis of data from clinical trials and public health interventions.
