  • Biography/ Background

    Lisa joined the Business School of the University of Adelaide in April 2007. Prior to this, Lisa taught at the University of South Australia for 20 years. She has coordinated and taught courses in Financial Accounting at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level and has extensive teaching experience in a variety of teaching modes (internal, external, offshore and online). She is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and worked in practice and industry prior to becoming an academic. Lisa was a member of CA ANZ's SA/NT Regional Council from 2006 to 2013. She has a particular interest in the development of academic and professional literacy skills and through collaboration with learning specialists from the Faculty of Professions Learning Unit has promoted this in the BCom. Her research interests include Auditing, Financial and Environmental Reporting, Accounting Education and Academic Integrity. Her PhD titled "Environmental disclosures in a conservation Organisation: An insider view" (University of Adelaide) was conferred in 2007.   

    Lisa is an ad-hoc referee for academic journals including Accounting, Auditing and Accountability, and Accounting Forum.
