  • Biography/ Background

    Nam Tran is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Chemical Engineering at The University of Adelaide, where he also serves as the Associate Dean of Internationalisation (South East Asia) within the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering, and Technology (SET). He was born in Can Tho City, a central province in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam.

    Nam Tran completed his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering at Can Tho University before pursuing a Master of Engineering study in Chemical System Engineering at The University of Tokyo (Japan) under the prestigious Panasonic Scholarship. After completing his master's degree, Nam Tran embarked on his Ph.D. journey at The University of Adelaide through the Australian Awards Scholarship.

    Currently, Nam Tran also serves as the Associate Editor-in-Chief of Green Processing and Synthesis (GREENPs). His research interests encompass various areas such as process control and instrumentation, process design and optimisation, renewable energy, reaction engineering, thermal and non-thermal plasma, ESG, and life cycle assessment.

Unfortunately, I had to turn my study to Australia due to my research interests.
