Curriculum Resources
Curriculum at the University of Adelaide is designed to enable engaging learning experiences that will develop the knowledge, skills, and personal qualities needed for student success.
Please see information on University policy and procedures relating to program and course development.
Following the removal of the unique content requirement from the CAPP, APEAC endorsed guidelines regarding program differentiation (including examples of cohort specific streaming).
ÌýThe guidelines have now been added to the program approval website
Developing student employability
Employability development happens through our world-class teaching, industry-informed curriculum, careers education, work placements and internships, and other industry interactions, and co-curricular opportunities.
Digital Capabilities
Digital capabilitiesÌýare critical to our students’ academic success and the career success of our graduates. Their future work will require them to find, assess and create increasingly complex multimedia digital resources, necessitating the integration of technical competence and critical thinking skills.
Writing learning outcomes
The following information advises on the factors influencing both program and course learning outcomes and sets out the widely accepted approach for writing them.
Models of Engaged Learning and Teaching (MELT)
The Models of Engaged Learning and Teaching (MELT) website is home to a community of academics, tutors, librarians, student support staff and, of course, students, that use the the various MELT frameworks to create discipline-based and interdisciplinary approaches and resources. These frameworks include the Research Skill Development (RSD) model for designing curriculum that facilitates the explicit, incremental development of student research skills.
Internationalisation of the curriculum
Internationalising the curriculumÌýis an evolving and interactive process, and different disciplines and schools will 'internationalise' their curricula in different ways, making informed decisions about the most appropriate way to incorporate a world perspective into their courses and programs.
